The track and class are in the Discord / Velocidrone events
We release the track on Thursday night giving 6 days to learn the track and place a qualifying time.
The track will be released at 8pm Thurdsay in the discord server & on Velocidrone community.
RACING
Racing will begin at 8:00PM UTC on Tuesday in the following way:
Pilots arrive for 8:00 in the 'race-voice' in this discord.
The racing comprises of 10 points rounds races.
The track leaderboard will be taken at 8:00 and the sheets will be populated.
Once you are signed in you will be assigned colours for the group you are racing in with pilots seeding around your qualification times, with groups as evenly devised as possible.
Just because you are in a different colour group, you are still racing everyone due to it being "Points Rounds";
Points round sees you given points with your race pace listed against everyone in each of the 10 "Heats"
The number of pilots dictate how the points sit each week, with the top time taking the number of points equal to the amount of people competing. points are distributed over all pilots descending in 1 per position from the fastest time in that heat.
GROUPS
Groups are balanced after the third and sixth heats are concluded. when reblanacing occurs you are regrouped by total points over the previous heats to give you rivals around your pace for the best racing.
HEATS
You can follow along by accessing this weeks sheet in #time-sheets-bracket. Navigate to the race proceedings tab (Main) to follow along and see how your points and record of times are doing all night.
FINALS
After 10 heats for everyone are finished, the top 10 pilots will advance to a single elimination that will whittle down the finalists to the winner - Don't be last!
PROTOCOLS
You will be called into your room from the RACE-VOICE voice channel all pilots are in and races will be conducted via voice (with chat if requested prior).
You are welcome to reside in servers while racing is going on to practice and spectate, the room will be locked while a groups heats are being run, we will also open the room for you to join if you ask u while inbetween races.
Please dont leave while a race is active.
We ask you give consideration to race orginizers as they will need to do housekeeping to the whole voice channel upon conveying when a race will start and group adjustments occur. please show respect for once another and have some fun!
Being Twigs - the props are very hard to damage for the most part, but all tracks will aim to have a recharge gate offer prop repair somewhere off the racing line around the start area.
There is no holeshot rule, get up and start reeling your rivals back in!

RESULTS
Finishing order and Finals will be posted.
Points rounds are quite flexible for jumping in or out if runing late or
Race admin may give you an entry once the racing is under way.
Race directors may either give you backfilleds time if the heats permit or your missed heats may be given a befitting time (999), but may also see if you can be given spare spots to catch up on heats run (early heats will be backfilled first so you are offing a cold or hot time in the correct part of the proceedings on the sheet).
